Imaging Our Imaging products empower healthcare professionals to better see inside the body, which helps improve the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of disease. GE Healthcare equipment scans over a billion patients every year, and we’re fully embracing the digital healthcare revolution with more than 50 software apps already built on our own digital Edison platform.

​​​​​​​The Imaging business has seven Modalities in total: five in Diagnostics (CT, MR, Molecular Imaging, X-Ray and Women’s Health) and two in Image-guided Therapy (Surgical and Interventional).

Clinical Care Solutions
Clinical Care Solutions (CCS) provides clinicians and frontline caregivers with a variety of medical solutions. This includes ultrasound – from women’s health and general imaging to point of care – as well as Life Care Solutions.
Ultrasound Our ultrasound portfolio is broad and meets clinical needs in diverse situations. We design and optimize systems for unique care settings, including; women’s health, cardiovascular, general radiology, primary care and point of care ultrasound.

Life Care Solutions Our Life Care Solutions business develops medical devices and technology that help sustain life and support patient care in every setting throughout the hospital. This ranges from diagnostic cardiology.

Products and Platform Through our Edison intelligence platform, we can focus on digitizing healthcare, delivering productivity and developing on-device artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, enabling clinicians to make faster, more informed decisions. Our Clinical Command Centers harness artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics to coordinate patient care and resources across the entire health system, streamline care delivery, and improve health outcomes.
Go to Market This is our commercial organization, focused on maximizing our growth and data strategy. Our consulting arm, called Healthcare Partners, is a segment within our Digital organization, and provides change management support.
Centers of Excellence This is where our world-class engineering, architecture, cloud strategy, operations and program management, user experience (UX), and global design teams collaborate to deliver reliability, growth, breakthrough processes and product innovation.

Pharmaceutical Diagnostics GE Healthcare is the world’s largest maker of medical imaging equipment including mammograms, ultrasound, and X-rays. These products are used in more than 75% of US hospitals and 2/3rds of UK hospitals.

​​​​​​​Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the global leader in imaging agents, administered to patients all over the world to improve the images that radiologists use to diagnose and monitor disease. Its products support neurology, cardiology and oncology procedures and are used to image three patients every second. With 4,500 employees globally, PDx serves 130 countries with manufacturing sites in Ireland, Norway, the Netherlands, China and Germany.
