& Dogger Bank

It’s an exciting time to be working in renewable energy - and you can play your part. We are currently hiring for our early works PMO team, with more opportunities to follow.  Check out all Dogger Bank, UK opportunities below and join us in Unleashing Limitless Energy.

We are offshore wind

GE Offshore Wind, a GE Renewable Energy business, has more than 600 employees in the world.  Today, we have wind turbines operating on three  continents, America, Europe and Asia and now have the world’s first 13 MW most powerful offshore wind turbine.

This is the Haliade-X

The Haliade-X is a multi-million-dollar investment that is contributing to reduce the cost of energy by making offshore wind a more competitive source of renewable energy.

The Haliade-X prototype in Rotterdam raised the bar for wind energy. It set a world record for generating 312 MWh of continuous power in a single 24 hour period. Delivering a power output of 12 MW upon installation, the prototype is now operating at 13 MW. One spin of the Haliade-X 13 MW turbine could power a UK household for more than 2 days.

GE Renewable Energy received the first commercial order for 190 Haliade-X 13 MW. It will power the first two phases of the Dogger Bank wind farm located off the North East coast of England and will become the world’s largest offshore wind farm when completed.
