What to expect on ITDP

What you'll do
During this 2-year program, you’ll experience three eight-month rotations that could see you building a digital strategy for a product on one rotation, then using AWS, Terraform, Redis, and Azure for automated deployment of business-critical solutions on the next.

Your assignments may fall into three areas: Project/Product Management, Business Analysis, and Technical Solutions. Examples of roles and projects you could take on during your rotations include:

  • Supply Chain Technical Product Manager
  • Scrum Master
  • Customer Experience Technical Product Manager
  • DevOps Engineer
  • Security Risk & Compliance Security Analyst
What you'll develop
Technical expertise
You’ll use digital technologies to deliver business solutions covering analytics, cybersecurity, the cloud and more.

Frontline experience
You’ll work alongside our tech experts, learning how digitally-led solutions are changing the way healthcare is delivered around the world.

Business skills
You’ll build your understanding of the core processes that impact our supply chain, finance, cyber, services, data & analytics, commercial abilities and other global operations.

Leadership skills
You’ll drive high-impact initiatives and projects, working with cross-functional teams.
What you'll need
We’ll take your passion for technology and all things digital as a given. It’s likely your degree may have a computer science, data analytics, IT, or engineering bias, but it could also be STEM related. We look for people who are willing to take risks and lead their teams to do innovative things and have a passion for technology.

To succeed, you’ll also need to be determined to apply your technical know-how to the delivery of solutions with the potential to make a positive impact on people’s lives. You’ll thrive when given a complex issue to solve, yet demonstrate humility and transparency in everything you do.

We’ll be looking for you to show us examples of success in digitally-focused projects. Perhaps you took the lead on an assignment during an internship, or undertook a university project in which you had a hands-on technical development or product management role. You could even show us how you’re incorporating innovative technology into various areas of your personal life.
