Operations Management
Leadership Program
Innovative initiatives would never see the light of day without a brilliant team to deliver them. We combine intelligent people, intelligent platforms, and a culture of constant evolution to drive big results for our customers and the great big world that GE serves.

What to expect on OMLP

On this program you will work in three different rotations across the business, gaining experience within the supply chain.

Popular rotations include:
  • Operations Supervisor
  • Lean Leader
  • Manufacturing/ Process Engineer
  • Materials Planner
We believe the diversity of GE and within the community that GE serves, allows you to bring your whole self to work.  During the two years you will experience many locations and people that will come together as a community, locally and virtually, to provide fellowship and support throughout your entire GE career.
When joining OMLP you are not joining just one business or one site, you are joining an entire community of people who are dedicated to your personal and professional growth.  This program is rooted in history where through challenging assignments, engaging training, and frequent insights help our early career leaders gain a foundation in supply chain and leadership.

In a nutshell, being an OMLP @ GE is a lot of fun: it is two-year full immersion in the ever-changing world of Supply Chain: there is the daily challenge of your assignment, where you are asked to achieve demanding goals and to introduce durable improvements within your team; there is a strong attention to your personal development with properly-designed trainings aimed at enhancing your soft skills and your Lean-Production-System knowledge.
On top of that, you will get to know smart people from all over the world, giving you the unique chance of developing an ever-lasting network of colleagues.

"I am helping to manufacture ventilators to make the healthcare equipment the world needs and additionally solving technical problems to help increase capacity and yield. Long days and short nights, but all in all these experiences have been more than rewarding. It reminds me everyday that what we do here really matters. Each day is a new learning experience." -Travisse K., GE Healthcare, United States
“The OMLP journey so far has given me the best experiences in my life… rotations, trainings, community service, and connect with top leadership. The program has accelerated my learning and growth. Both professionally and personally, it has helped me transform into a more independent individual. We are also exposed to different businesses, cultures, and people from all over the world. The fun begins only when you start interacting! I am really glad to be a part of the OMLP cohort, exploring incredible opportunities at such an early stage of my career.” - Shreya A.,
