What Our Participants Are Saying

"My assignment leader has provided me with the independence to become a key member at my shop and to build my confidence as an early career employee.”

- Maura Jones

"As a candidate with a Welding Engineering Technology degree, MEDP felt like the perfect fit for me. Engineering Technology degrees, by their very nature, foster a more hands-on educational experience than a traditional engineering degree. I did not want a desk job where there was a disconnect from the process. Manufacturing Engineers are “steel-toe” engineers that have the opportunity, every day, to connect directly to their process on the shop floor.I also really appreciated that MEDP offered a program that allowed me to establish a life in a community without having to move after short rotations."

Maria C.
During my recruitment experience, I was very surprised about how focused each member of the recruitment team was on finding the right role for me. At the time did not really know what type of career path was right for me, but the MEDP program managers and members helped me find the perfect fit in the perfect shop for me and I could not be happier about my decision to join the program."

Kaleb R.

One of my favorite things about being in this program is the amount of support that I receive from my leaders on how to navigate my career. I have regular touchpoints with my Program Manager where I can bring up any questions or concerns that I have about my current rotation and how it all fits in the bigger picture of the business. I also have regular touchpoints with my Assignment Leader where I can continue to learn about my professional performance and work to identify what is next for me. What I find most comforting is that my leaders don’t expect me to have all of the answers on what I want to do for the rest of my life. They encourage and support me to explore my role to its fullest extent so I can find  the answer to these questions through my experience."
