Inclusion and Diversity
For over 100 years, we have fostered a culture where all employees can contribute and succeed.
GE is committed to taking on the world's touchest challenges.  In order to fulfill that promise we rely on a culture of leadership, diversity and inclusiveness.  We aim to employ the worlds' brightest minds to help us create a limitless source of ideas and opportunities.  We believe in hiring talented people of varied backgrounds, experiences and styles...people like you.

GE Affinity Networks

Grow professionally and personally with communities built on common backgrounds and experiences.
African American/Affinity Forum
Since its founding as GE's first affinity network, AAF has expanded globally to provide members with development and networking opportunities while helping contribute to the growth of the company and volunteering in the communities where GE operates.
Asian Pacific American Forum (APAF)
APAF was founded to support Asian Pacific American GE employees across North America. Our initiatives and resources help APA professionals grow their leadership abilities and support APA students interested in pursuing STEM careers in the communities we work and live.
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender & Ally Alliance (GLBTA)
The GLBTA is focused on creating a more inclusive environment for all employees at GE, and promoting the company's commitment to developing GLBT talent around the world. GLBT employees and their allies connect through regional and global events to discuss and raise awareness about GLBT issues and engage GE's senior leadership.
Hispanic Forum
The HF was founded more than two decades ago to connect Hispanic employees throughout GE with programs designed to promote professional development. Today, through activities like mentoring, scholarships, and cultural events, HF supports not only current employees, but also emerging Hispanic talent in the communities where we live and work.
People with Disabilities Network (PDN)
PDN is committed to raising awareness and sensitivity towards GE employees and their loved ones with disabilities, advocating for the accommodations they need and are entitled to, providing support to help them succeed and flourish in their careers, and making GE an employer of choice for employees with disabilities and employees who care for those with disabilities.
Veterans Network (VN)
Building on a strong commitment to military veteran recruitment and development, the GE Veterans Network was established in 2009 to make GE the employer of choice for veterans, reservists, and guardsmen while creating a GE community of veterans and veteran leaders to support and encourage the career development and growth of all members.
Volunteers
GE Volunteers facilitates and supports volunteering activities that improve life and meet critical needs in the communities where GE people live and work around the world. These activities are carried out through a wide range of projects in the areas of health, education, the environment, and community-building. Currently GE Volunteers activities are run at the business unit level. Your HRM can help you learn about your organization and/or site’s Corporate Citizenship/Community Relations/GE Volunteers leader.
Women’s Network (WN)
For more than two decades, the Women's Network has provided professional development opportunities for GE women across the globe, acting as a resource to advance their professional goals. Through our events and scholarship programs for women, we're also helping GE to build its future workforce.
