GE's Global Operations Center, Cincinnati
Global Operations is GE’s multifunctional shared services organization. We leverage scale worldwide, working with every GE business, to identify innovative solutions to make GE simpler, better and more customer-focused.
At Global Operations, our vision is to be the world’s best shared services operation, enabling GE's strategy by delivering for our customers, businesses, investors and employees. We enable a unique competitive advantage by looking across all GE businesses, customers and suppliers for opportunities to deliver better outcomes at lower costs. In return, we create capacity for our business teams to focus on our customers, invest in R&D and grow new markets.
Cincinnati is one of the four locations for GE’s Global Operations Centers worldwide, with the other locations in Pudong, China; Budapest, Hungary; and Monterrey, Mexico. Our Cincinnati Center currently houses approximately 1,000 people working in functions such as Finance/Accounting, HR, IT, Supply Chain, Legal/EHS and Commercial Operations.
Our building features open and collaborative work spaces, including a mix of huddle spaces and workstations, with floor to ceiling windows providing sweeping views of the Cincinnati riverfront and downtown. Flexible and productive workspaces underpin GE’s culture and mission, and add to the overall atmosphere, energy, culture and collaboration. These work spaces are extensions of our culture and motivate employees to contribute their best while maintaining a good work-life balance. The infrastructure and spaces in the new building supports GE’s culture of FastWorks and Lean and promotes collaboration.

Operating with Integrity
How we deliver results is as important as the results themselves. GE seeks to lead in workplace and marketplace integrity by respecting the human rights of everyone touched by our business, and by enforcing legal and financial compliance. These commitments are detailed in our integrity policy, The Spirit & The Letter, which every employee supports with a signed pledge. They are further enabled by our ombudsperson process, which encourages any employee to report integrity concerns without fear of reprisal.
