The Electrical Power Systems Engineering Executive Director will be responsible for concept, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration of the components and sub-systems in an electrical power system. You will perform system design trade studies, proof of concept investigations; develop proposals for control of electrical systems, and lead the systems integration and validation efforts to certify integrated aircraft electrical power systems. |Essential Responsibilities:||In this role, you will lead the global systems engineering team for the GE Aviation Systems Electrical Power business. This team has approximately 60 engineers across a growing global footprint including sites in Cheltenham UK, Dayton, OH and Clearwater, FL. You will be a leader in the initial projects in the new Electrical Power Integration Center (EPIC) in Cheltenham England and instrumental in opening the GE Electrical Power Integrated System Center (EPISCENTER) on the campus of the University of Dayton.
