Role Summary/Purpose:
Essential Responsibilities: An IMA platform systems engineer will use system avionics engineering skills to help develop the GE AVIC joint venture Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) platform. Team activities will include developing, validating, and verifying requirements and architecture related to the IMA platform. This role requires strong communications and technical skills.


- Develop IMA platform requirements and architecture

- Support lab integration and testing of the IMA platform

- Comply with essential processes including SAE ARP-4754, DO-297, and GE AVIC internal processes

- Meet individual cost and schedule goals

- Attend team meetings and provide status reports on a weekly basis

- Work as part of the IMA platform systems development team to meet team objectives
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science (or a High School Diploma / GED with equivalent experience in a technical role)

- Solid oral and written communication skills (English required)

Desired Characteristics / Experience

- Avionics system engineering experience

- IMA systems experience (particularly the GE AVIC IMA)

- Solid oral and written communication skills (Mandarin)

- Strong decision making skills

- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills
