Role Summary/Purpose This is your chance to join GE Oil & Gas Drilling and Production Systems as our Account Manager for Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Brunei. This is an exciting, and significant growth opportunity, for an accomplished sales professional within the oil and gas sector.
Essential Responsibilities Based in our Singapore office, and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager for APAC, based in Singapore, you will be responsible for leading and strategically growing our full scope of Vetco Gray drilling products and services across land, subsea and capital drilling equipment.
With a focus on managing existing accounts, with national oil companies and independents, youll also be accountable for increasing market share, driving pricing and setting margins.
As a senior member of the sales team, you will very comfortable identifying, promoting and exploiting sales opportunities in the region and developing client relationships.
Qualifications/Requirements To really be a success in this role youll need:
- A proven background in the oil & gas industry and also have had a minimum of 5 years in preferably a similar sales role
- Previous drilling operational expertise
- Excellent written and oral skills and confidence with client presentations
- To be technically strong and preferably with an engineering qualification or degree
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and word
- Sound business acumen and well developed interpersonal skills
