Role Summary/Purpose The VP Production,Oxygen, will lead the Production team at Oxygen and serve as executive producer, and brand manager on current shows, acting as a liaison to the marketing, publicity, ad sales, and digital teams.
Essential Responsibilities
* Oversee the current team both east coast and west coast and act as a liaison to the marketing, publicity, ad sales, and digital teams

* Provide notes on production concepts, casting, outlines and rough-cuts and coordinate new series launches and approve storylines for series

* Manage talent where necessary.

* Liaise with sales team and Production Company to provide integration ideas and supervise integration execution on set

* Supervise and conceptualize the production elements of the digital materials that emanate from assigned shows, i.e. webisodes/extra scenes/blogs etc

* Problem solve production issues with producers and SVP of Original Programming and Production- Attend shoots, and work with finance to solve budget issues

* Work with the Development team to ensure that agreed to concepts are fully realized in production
* Act as the main point of contact between the network and producers for managing day-to-day details of production planning and logistics including:

* Work with the production companies on budgeting, calendar, crew, logistics, insurance, etc.
* Facilitate necessary approvals, materials, and information across various departments
* Managing and communicating the flow of information, materials, dates, schedules etc. to SVP and greater team

* Work closely with the Production & Development team in researching and presenting information and options for show-related decisions to SVP
Qualifications/Requirements
* Minimum 7 years of experience in production at a cable network

* Bachelor's degree

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Up to 40% of travel might be required

Eligibility Requirements:

* Must be willing to work in New York, NY

* Must be able to travel

* Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation including a credit check

* Must be 18 years or greater

* Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

* Must be available to work evenings and weekends
