Role Summary/Purpose The Business Transition Project Manager will work in a matrixed team environment to lead the payroll and benefits aspects of business transitions including acquisition integration, divestiture support, re-organizations and affiliate COE conversions.
Essential Responsibilities * Coordinate with GE business and GE Corporate HR to to establish payroll and benefits project plans and timelines
* Provide strong project leadership for payroll and benefits workstreams for all assigned business transitions
* Develop, coordinate and deliver benefits education for employees impacted by a business transition
Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Business Adminstration, Finance, Marketing or other related fields
* Demonstrated multi-faceted, cross-functional project management experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building and maintaining positive working relationships
* Minimum of three years of HR, Payroll or Benefits experience
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Proven facilitation and/or training experience
* Familiarity and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Work and Powerpoint
* Must have ability to travel during peak employee education periods (transition dependent)
* Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
* Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background investigation
