<tr><td valign=top><b>Role Summary/Purpose: </b></td><td>Job Summary<br/>Direct the development and implementation of a Lean manufacturing system within the Asia region that delivers World Class performance and competitiveness. Simply stated, deploy Lean, Six Sigma Logic and other Quality/Performance improvement processes in the organization to effect a transformation in a manner that: <br/><br/>- 	Assures ownership and alignment of the organization,<br/><br/>- 	Achieves results with aligned performance improvement initiatives</td></tr>
<tr><td valign=top><b>Essential Responsibilities: </b></td><td>Job Responsibilities:<br/><br/><br/>- 	Safety Health & Environmental &#8211; Integrate Lean principles with existing Safety & Health initiatives.<br/><br/>- 	World Class Performance improvement &#8211; Direct, drive, the transformation and integration of business level processes & systems into P&W Asia supply chain through use of Lean tools.<br/><br/>- 	The Lean Enterprise System &#8211; Work in close cooperation with the plant managers to define, then rolling out, the implementation of a Lean Enterprise system for supply chain manufacture within the Asia region, ensuring that critical success factors are incorporated within the transformation model. Drive strategy execution and improvement results.<br/><br/>- 	Organizational Development &#8211; Provide leadership, coaching and training in leading large-scale culture change that is inherent in Lean transformations.  Provide objective assessments of our capability to lead significant change and work with top leadership to reconcile any issues or obstacles.<br/><br/>- 	Measurement / Metrics &#8211; Develop the appropriate driving metrics for Lean, assess baseline performance, work with plant leaders to develop appropriate targets and measure progress to targets.  Ensure development of an integrated improvement strategy that allows the business to meet G&Os.<br/><br/>- 	Teaching / Mentoring &#8211; Hands-on leadership and teaching of Lean principles and tools.  Develop learning opportunities for executive leadership.  Develop an Enterprise-wide appreciation for performance improvement opportunities and approach within all functions.<br/><br/>- 	Internalization & Best Practices &#8211; Play an active role within Asia supply chain team within the company, capturing and internalizing best practices globally.</td></tr>
<tr><td valign=top><b>Qualifications/Requirements: </b></td><td>Job requirement:<br/><br/><br/>- 	Expertise in Lean, Sigma Logic, Quality & performance improvement processes<br/><br/>- 	Leadership, planning, consulting and influencing skills required for leading large-system change<br/><br/>- 	Ability to plan and integrate on a strategic level and drive execution of improvement plans on a tactical level<br/><br/>- 	Working knowledge of all aspects of the critical business processes/systems within the business<br/><br/>- 	Operations experience, 5-10 years total experience, Technical degree<br/><br/>- 	Prime Success Factors: Result driven; Change agent; Team player; Build Trust & Respect; Understand Market & Customer Perspective<br/><br/>- 	Individual Success Factors: Build Strong Working Relationships; Influence Decisions and Actions; Learn Continuously<br/><br/>- 	Strong interpersonal skills.<br/><br/>- 	Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.</td></tr>
