These primary items also include the coordination and communication of the same with other GE Industrial businesses that record activity within the GOF APAC owned entities and branches.<br/><br/><br/>-   Manage the monthly/quarterly ASC 740 process, including driving consistent use of tax provisioning tools, review quarterly ETR&#8217;s, and assist Corporate Tax Teams, Industrial Business Tax Teams and Global Tax Controller with quarterly reporting requirements such as Balance Sheet analysis, NOL C/F balances, FIN 48, audit tracker, etc.<br/><br/>-   Assist GOF APAC Controllership and Global Tax Controller with FP&A rhythms in the region, including forecasting ETR&#8217;s, identifying risks & opportunities to the plan, and cash tax payments.<br/><br/>-   Examine and evaluate all deferred tax and current tax payable balances in accordance with GE GAP.<br/><br/>-   Responsible for annual CIT compliance, RTA analysis and coordination of settlements within the region. This role will partner with GE Country Tax COE&#8217;s, Industrial Business Tax, and GGO finance team to ensure Business compliance with GE MAP <br/>020.<br/>30.<br/><br/>-   Partner with Corporate Tax, GE Country Tax COE&#8217;s and Business Tax Directors to manage and communicate local tax audits, identify and execute simplification opportunities related to GOF owned entities and branches.<br/><br/>-   Assist Global Tax Controller with US tax compliance, GOLDNet maintenance, and business integration plans in the region.<br/><br/>-   Assist Global Tax Controller and APAC Finance team with the direct tax aspects related to the implementation of the various Enterprise Standards.<br/><br/>-   Provide ASC740 Accounting for Income training and its practical application to the GE GAP and reporting processes, and be a subject matter expert for the underlying systems and tools.</td></tr>

<tr><td valign=top><b>Role Summary/Purpose: </b></td><td>Responsible for Thailand value-added tax (VAT) and withholding tax (WHT) process execution.  Ensure the processes comply with GE Enterprise Standards and Thailand&#8217;s statutory and tax requirements.  Able to work effectively with remotely-located team, seek to drive process improvement and automation, for a long-term and structured growth.</td></tr>
<tr><td valign=top><b>Essential Responsibilities: </b></td><td>1) Prepare, analyze, calculate and fill tax forms for both value-added tax and withholding tax, ensure all filings will be submitted on time with accuracy and completeness.<br/>2) Prepare and timely submit monthly WHT and VAT reconciliation.<br/>3) Provide fiscal tax projections, and reports as requested.<br/>4) Responsible for developing and directing process improvement according to GE&#8217;s Statutory and Tax Enterprise Standard. Continuously provide insight on process improvements, and provide risk management analysis for possible changes and implement change.<br/>5) Manage and assist in annual audit (internal and external), ensuring accuracy of all information needed by the auditors.<br/>6) Communicates with internal and external auditors, banks and management personnel for the purpose of providing information and technical assistance needed to resolve problems.<br/>7) Support other general ledger activities on ad hoc basis and assist with month-end closing.<br/>8) Research for information from historical transactions as requested.<br/>9) Partner with Financial Service Leader, Center Leader and COE Leader for performance metrics reviews.</td></tr>
