Role Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible to manage the entire Avio Aero Military programs portfolio as Program Management and Customer Support Organization. You will ensure Programs requirements are met driving strong cross functional collaboration, customer focus and accountability.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Meet Programs schedules and financial targets in order to reach the contractual Customer Satisfaction and maximize Contribution Margin and Cash Flow
  • Set organizational goals to meet program objectives
  • Serve as the Voice of the Customer to ensure responsiveness and focus
  • Provide guidance and direction for all Military Production, Repair and Overhaul Programs, empowering and engaging Program Managers on Programs leadership and accountability
  • Influence profitable growth of Military Product Support business by developing processes and systems that will product competitively priced support products required
  • Drive a culture of horizontal collaboration across the different functions (Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Sales & Commercial, Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance)
  • Serve as role model for unyielding integrity
  • Plan and act for development of the team
  • Maintain constant relationship with the different Customers to understand and satisfy their needs

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
    • Previous experience in leading aerospace Military programs and close interaction with Military or equivalent Customers
    • Financials knowledge and understanding;
    • Transformational leadership
    • Outstanding ability to work and lead crossfunctionally
    • Proven records of success in Program Management and/or other leadership roles
    • Consistent experience in the Aviation industry
    • Fluent in Italian and English
    • EU work permit

      Desired Characteristics:
      • Previous experience in Operations
      • Sales/Commercial Responsibility in the aviation field
      • Knowledge of Italian and/or international military programs in the Aviation sector;
      • Good communications skills.
      • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
      • Proven managerial and negotiation ability
