Role Summary: Support Control Solutions sales team & customers technically during pre-order stage that includes the following: 1. Distributed Control system (and Turbine Control System) new units, upgrade & retrofit jobs 2. LCI/Excitation System upgrades 3. Cybersecurity implementations 4. Generator Protection Systems upgrades/implementations
Essential Responsibilities: - Work closely with the sales team, as well as, channel partners, to support commercial team and sales team on development of technical scope for the proposals focusing on the technical knowhow and upgrade opportunities across the region. - Align with the HQ teams on new product/software/service technology and be the focal point of expertise on Control new units, upgrade, retrofit deals in the region. - Attend sales meetings on regular basis with the regional team. Presenting at the regional conferences on GE Control Systems topics
Qualifications/Requirements: - Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or Technology. - Working knowledge in DCS; having good understand of DCS market, and its dynamics - Able to develop DCS upgrade solutions and present to customer - Experienced in customer seminar and road show - Having experienced of working with multiple customers, especially overseas travel - Knowledge in Turbine Control System
- Fluent in English at both Business and Technical level

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Flexibility to travel out of country: This job requires travelling within the Asia region, and hence, the candidate will be expected to travel to outside of the base country to support sales activities. Responsive: He/she should be knowledgeable and be the focal point for Control Solutions, he/she is expected to be responsive to technical inquiries by customer/stakeholders. Willingness to learn: Technology is evolving over times, he/she is expected to learn new skills e.g. software applications etc in the digital space.
Those with experience and knowledge of Hydro Power plant and Thermal Power Plant will have an advantage.
