Role Summary: The Network Design and Integration Specialist is primarily responsible for management of system connectivity for GE Healthcare Life Care Solutions portfolio including but not limited to Patient Monitoring, Anesthesia, Respiratory Care, Diagnostic Cardiology and Maternal Infant Care. The incumbent will work closely with the customers and internal teams to design, implement and support systems integration within our portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities: He/She will also have to work closely with our Independent Channel Partners in developing their team’s capabilities in terms of ND&I management. HL7 implementation experience is highly preferred.
• Network and connectivity support for GE Healthcare Life Care Solutions portfolio. • Collaborate with Product Segment leaders to deliver on key financial targets • Play lead and advisory role to customers and partners in enterprise connectivity needs including recommendation of optimal system solution and network design to fit users needs. • Project management including planning, procuring, installation, testing, training and troubleshooting of our system solutions. • Prepares documentation in a variety of written and electronic formats. • Installing, Managing, Configuring and Maintaining System solutions • Monitor system installations health and usage to help users maximize their workflow. Take feedbacks from customers on improvements and work with upstream on fulfilling and pre-empting customers’ needs. • Continuously review connectivity trends in contrast to our capabilities. Work with upstream to feedback trends and needs. • Develop channel partners teams network design and integration capabilities across ASEAN. • Develop and communicate system solutions value proposition to internal and external customers. • Be able to articulate GEHC’s overall LCS IT vision. Be a driver for cross modality activities.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelors Degree in IT or Engineering • Five (5) years of experience in installation plans, service plans, and maintenance of Healthcare IT systems. • Five (5) years of Project management in Healthcare IT systems • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational, analytical and process skills • Experience in working under cross-functional and cross-culture team environment • Experience with interfacing with both internal team members, external customers • Willingness and ability to travel 30-50% of time
Hardware skills: • In depth knowledge in network and routing protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF and BGP, SMTP, NFS and SIP • In depth knowledge in wireless networking security protocols • Design and maintain LAN, WAN and wireless network with active components such as routers, switches, modems. • Active directory management, NTFS security, disk quota management
