Role Summary:
This is a cross-functional discipline and considers the technical needs of business/customers to build quality products. They design and optimize requirements to define the system and verify they are executed from concept to operation. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies

Essential Responsibilities:
Conducts component and product integration. All activities that span multiple components and products and are concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance. Manages product requirements and flow down. Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product, including system level testing. Responsible for defining product requirements for the module / component teams. Manages interface between components and doing organizations. Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components. manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system (manages the how). Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations. Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done. Delivers products as part of a team. Works on cross functional teams. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.

Qualifications/Requirements:
BS Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering and 4 years relevant work experience.
