Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for collection, identification, cataloging and generation of clinical Magnetic Resonance (MR) images to support the product marketing portfolio across all segments within GE Healthcare MR. Engage global marketing managers to select and generate MR imaging proof points and datasets for use in MR collaterals, console demonstrations at trade-shows, training for applications and MR sales teams and for use in public relations campaigns. Contribute to development of marketing collateral. Responsible for collection of images from GE MR customers, GE field applications specialists, etc. Execute and manage image collection agreements (when needed). Generate DVD’s of MR image sets representing GE’s MR capabilities for MR sales specialists for use in commercial MR deals and tenders. Work with key customers to collect clinical image data, manage GE/customer image collection agreements, and ensure GE policies related to patient privacy are followed. Organize and catalog image data sets based on MR segment, system, patient pathology, MR technique utilized. Contribute to trade-shows (RSNA, ISMRM, ECR, etc) for the generation of demo-ready clinical image datasets. Collaborate in MR marketing collateral development (brochures, white papers, web sites, digital tools, Signa Pulse Magazine, etc.). Work with global marketing managers during New Product Introduction (NPI). Deliver content for Public Relations campaigns when needed. Identify gaps in clinical image portfolio and work with global and regional teams to fill those gaps. Support GE’s global simplification effort to reduce complexity and waste through process improvements within the marketing function. Provide input and contribute to the definition, design and refinement of MR and GEHC products and services to address customer needs. Assist with customer engagements, focus groups, user groups, advisory boards and other market-related activities to assist in the collection, definition and validation of market needs and requirements. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Biomedical, Life Science and Health Science, or related scientific or clinical field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered, in a related MR Technologist/radiographer position or related occupation required. The position also requires: 4 years medical imaging clinical experience; 2 years experience working with MRI customers at their sites and installations to optimize MRI imaging practices; 3 years experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and 2 years experience with MRI image manipulation, data processing and image display. Up to 20% travel required (20% domestic within USA, and 80% international to Paris, Beijing, Sao Paolo, Bangalore, Tokyo, Singapore) for events, customer needs and product cycles, to support Reference Site customers, Pilot Sites, first in country installs, Region training events, and also Global and Region trade shows.
