Role Summary: Customer facing staff responsible for winning business. The Sales Manager is responsible for sales with the mission to deliver on sales targets and margins and to ensure excellence in the sales process.
Drive & own aggressive growth targets including metric targets (volume, margin, convertibility and cash collection) in the relevant sales area
Support best pricing policy,
Drive collaboration with the dedicated teams to drive growth opportunities
Direct ownership in working with the legal, risk and commercial operations teams to continually update and revise the contractual documents to accommodate customer needs
Support sales analytics and market intelligence to deepen knowledge of customer and competitors behaviors and prepare for smarter bids
Lead market intelligence in the region to determine potential targets
Drive improvements and initiatives in partnership with Southern Africa sales Leader to resolve support issues, failures or adverse feedback from clients Work cross functionally to share best practices and modify processes and policies to improve overall customer experience
Stimulate a highly collaborative culture, which encourages effective partnership across functional and geographic boundaries to deliver on business imperatives
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology/or equivalent
Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels
Entrepreneurial mindset: demonstrated ability to translate the voice of the customer into internal initiatives that resonate with key stakeholders
Superior communication skills (verbal and written) and well-developed executive presentation skills Minimum eight years experience in a sales related position
Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location
Aggressive sales and project management skills, with proven results working in a matrix team environment
