About Us:
GE is the world's Digital Industrial Company, transforming industry with software-defined machines and solutions that are connected, responsive and predictive. Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale, GE delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry.

Role Summary:
The Collections & Disbursements intern is the owner of the daily collections pacing and supports the weekly reporting quarterly planning rhythm.
She/he provides analyses and updates reporting on the metrics directly followed, interacting directly with several stakeholders including Billing CoE, regional FP&A teams and Treasury teams.
The intern will progressively gain ownership of a specific sub-regional scope and will report on that to the CoE Leader and regional CFO.

Essential Responsibilities:
The CoE team intern is the key owner of the tracking dashboards and files for all GPS projects collections. She/he reports directly to the Projects Global cash leader.

Pacing: the intern

  • prepares and reconciles reports for the weekly cash calls for EU/Africa, Asia and China and for the financial reviews with the Projects CFO

Closing: the intern
  • tracks collections in the last days of each quarter and owns the finalization of reports on quarter actuals

The role requires strong commitment and flexibility. Precision and attention to details are a prerequisite; the intern will be challenged in her/his ability to perform several tasks in parallel, work autonomously but also coordinate effectively with global stakeholders .
The role offers the opportunity to see the full scope of cash management activities on a multi-billion dollars portfolio and to make an impact in project execution. Because of the required deliverables, the role allows visibility to senior leaders within GE and grants the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural, international environment.
