Role Summary:
Provides IT support and performs /coordinates desktop work for GE Executive staff and their
assistants. Researching and implementing technology solutions that will be delivered to
executives. Responsibility for completion of assignments received and responsibility for decisions
which may relate to sensitive matters. Perform a variety of IT related liaison activities on a global
basis between peers, the general IT community, and other departments as required

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Operate videoconferencing technologies and equipment for executive presentations, live events and meetings.
  • Work with multiple departments to ensure maximum availability of audio and video equipment.
  • Anticipate, identify and resolve problems.
  • Drive and deliver a customer service approach for corporate client's support issues, using any and all communication options available to you.
  • Establish working relationships with customers and vendors to enhance support.
  • Must be available during off hours to handle urgent issues that may arise.
  • Participate in the training and education of new team members.
  • Provide support / leadership for special projects.
  • Provide technical feedback as new issues surface

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or other technical / IT field OR (a Minimum 2 years of relevant IT work experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in applying various technical solutions
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an audio visual support role

    Eligibility Requirements:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
  • Must be willing to travel 5%
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Boston, MA
