As an EID intern you will be responsible for project work within the scope of Customs. Your internship will include a project-oriented work assignment designed to offer hands-on Customs experience with the Global Operations- Customs team. The assignment is designed to expose the intern to Customs knowledge, strategy setting and analytics. The intern will be exposed to the role Customs plays in GE strategic initiatives.
As an intern you will be responsible for work within the scope of the function that you are working. The internship is designed to give current college students enrolled in an undergraduate program exposure to GE strategic initiatives and the role Customs plays in achieving the business' objectives.
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelors (or international equivilent) from an accerdited college/university.
High School Diploma/GED
Strong analytical and judgment skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Strong orientation towards process improvement.
Demonstrated examples of using an analytical approach to problem solving.
