Essential Responsibilities: Painters will be responsible for masking and unmasking, and paint application of components that will be integrated with additional material to form sub-assemblies for use in other production areas/lines (for example: Aux Cab, Main Cab, Engine Cab, Pipe Shop, etc.). You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks that may include operating the following equipment: CNC machines, electric/pneumatic tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, and tuggers. Upon completing tasks, each painter will serve as an inspector to ensure tasks have been performed within quality specifications.
Minimum of 1 year of experience using electrical and/or pneumatic hand tools.
Must be able to read blue prints, schematics and manufacturing instructions in a sufficient manner to complete the assigned assembly tasks
Must be able to complete some operations at heights up to 20 ft.
Must be able to lift material <=50 Lbs.
Must have ability to properly use and care for assigned tools and equipment
must be able to adhere to standards, do a quality job in a safe manner and within acceptable time; Every employee will be an in process inspector
Must be familiar with standard paint equipment and must be able to set up and adjust equipment to obtain the desired spray patterns.
Must be able to demonstrate proper environmental & safety practices when setting up and cleaning equipment.
Must be able to identify defects such as runs, sags, dry spray, orange peel etc. and determine the probable cause and demonstrate repair techniques.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have high-school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs and safety shoes.
Must be willing to work in a tobacco-free environment.
Be willing to take a drug test & submit to a background check as part of the selection process.
Be willing to submit to random drug tests.

Must be willing to work as necessary to meet requirements of the position, including the ability to work occasional weekends and scheduled overtime.
