Essential Responsibilities: Government relation Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior decision makers in Chinese Energy Department (at national and key offshore province regional level) /Wind Association/IPPs/Industry Experts relevant to wind business to develop wind related strategies, programs and resource plan to meet China overall growth strategies and strategic segments priorities;
Customer Relation Build strong relations with Offshore developers and investors, SOE Utilities, and provincial IPP. Map key stakeholder by province and build long term relationship with key decision makers. Regular update meeting with relevant above development.
Marketing &branding Actively participate in trade/commercial related bodies and various programs to establish critical contacts with industry association, peer companies to promote and expand offshore wind business opportunity; Develop the competitive analysis and establish benchmarks for offshore product and service offering. Preparing trade show ahead identifying key stakeholder to meet as per various global function need. Issue detailed report with concrete actions and plan. Follow up on execution of actions
Intelligence Monitor and analyze China’s offshore wind value chain by delivering intelligence report across policy makers, OEM, IPPs, competitors and other suppliers on a regular basis Manage and work with third party information providers to compile and integrate external source.
Consult and advise Formulate recommendation on steps to make to capture higher business. Prepare unique China offshore value proposition with a comprehensive marketing plan aiming at increasing the perceived value. Prepare material for various management meetings. Build value base pricing strategy for offshore products together with engineering and commercial team. To work with both offshore China and offshore HQ for the offshore China business strategy, including JV BP, partnership strategy etc.
Qualifications/Requirements: Education Bachelors Degree in Engineering - Masters Preferred, or equivalent on the basis of proven track record External Experience 10years in wind related business, marketing intelligence, business development experience Knowledge and Skills Robust knowledge of wind business related. Pragmatic approach and proven ability to analyse the market intelligence on a strategic level, ability to drive positive change Communicative, convincing (with a natural authority), and a proven ability to motivate and inspire others Initiative taking Creative mind set and good relationship building skills Strong organisational and analytical skills Ability to work in a multi-cultural team Languages: English + at least one other language relevant to the geographic region
