Essential Responsibilities: Deliver classroom and on-line technical training courses depending on business needs on a wide range of energy management and distribution management software products. Responsible for designing and producing new, as well as maintaining existing, training curricula for e-terra software solution products within Grid Solutions. Deliver technical training including lecture, demonstration, and supervision of labs in the classroom. Act as technical lead on specification, design, development and implementation of new and existing courses. Travel up to 50% of the time to deliver onsite courses. Work in a team environment with other instructors to improve and deliver technical training material. Use online teaching and meeting tools. Work with subject matter experts to develop accurate content and to conduct periodic reviews to ensure training materials and delivery are meeting quality standards and following quality management policies.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering (any), Science, or related field, and three (3) years experience in related occupation required. The position also requires: 3 years experience with the Network Management Systems Software Products; 3 years experience with complex computer applications; 1 year experience in preparation of technical instructional/training material; 3 years experience with MS WORD and MS Powerpoint; and 18 months experience making formal and informal presentations to technical audience. Travel between 3 and 5 days up to twice per month required to customer locations in the US and Canada to deliver on-site technical training courses.
