Role Summary: The Business Enablement Director (BED) is a strategic role within the Enterprise Solutions team, responsible for creating value for clients through;
consultant led customer assessments in nuclear medicine and radiology departments
to developing efficient long-term technology/capital planning
equipment optimization and efficiency recommendations.
The BED is also in charge of market analysis and leading assessments and optimisation- and efficiency projects.
Essential Responsibilities: The BED will support value based partnerships growth strategy by being a thought leader on technology planning and leading the effort to design efficient repeatable opportunities which will guide the formation of strategic partnerships between GE and its clients.
Design equipment plans based on outcomes, clinical/economic drivers, data and expertise
Develop customer's bill of quantity - type and number of equipment and/or solutions required through onsite capacity/demand planning
Leverage nuclear medicine and radiology assessments & biomed asset optimization
Partner with modality teams for latest approach to product outcomes and clinical excellence
Design and lead engagements to meet Client’s needs and expectations
Consultant approach to conducting client interviews and workflow observations
Lead discovery workshops and on-site assessments
Map and benchmark customer value chains / pathways
Lead optimisation and efficiency projects on-site
Introduce lean methodologies
Support bids & account management on large strategic projects providing project operations expertise
Work with the analytics team to collect relevant data and create insightful analyses to inform customer proposals
Manage internal and external key stakeholder expectations to ensure alignment to larger strategic goals
Collaborate with multiple GE Healthcare teams to deepen Client relationship and gain organizational insights
Translate current healthcare trends into actionable plans for both the Client and GE
Participate in development of new asset management solutions programs that deliver value to our Clients and GE
Balance diverse points of view from marketing, sales and communications professionally in related business unit
Proven of demonstrated success in consulting, Six Sigma, project management
Hospital-wide business process knowledge and a broad understanding of healthcare products, services portfolio
Demonstrable experience in delivery of practical lean transformation
Understanding of one or more diagnostic imaging technologies
Extensive experience in developing and executing on complex project plans
Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering, technology or equivalent knowledge and experience
Excellent executive level presence, with demonstrated ability to work directly with Hospital COO, CTO, Chief Strategy Officer, Healthcare Authorities, Construction Companies etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning, organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several projects concurrently
Proven ability to perform business analysis and make process improvement recommendations.
Energetic, enthusiastic self-starter requiring limited supervision, able to take initiative & follow-up on assigned projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
Must be willing to extensive travel
