Role Summary: To accelerate progress of our Brilliant Factory deployment, we are building up a digital focused team that will support the site’s strategy. The team will partner with Operation and COE leaders to accelerate digital transition progress, leverage best practices across sites, driving digital application implementation and monitor the performance across entire site.
Essential Responsibilities: • Define overall strategy/road map for process excellence at the plant leveraging IT/technology • Partner with operations team to identify, prioritize and execute projects in line with global roadmap while ensuring local needs are met. • Collaborate with lean and other COEs in Supply Chain to drive simplification of processes in respective areas. • Be the single points of contact for site’s related process/IT resolution. • Ability to manage timelines driven by business & IT resource capacity and needs. • Ability to manage small to medium budgets. • Delivery/implementation of project objectives. • Define, measure and track tangible& intangible benefits associated with the projects. • Organization of all project related activities and resources. • Project planning activities scheduling and assigning of resources across project activities. • Communication of project status to project team, stakeholders, and leadership. • Identify opportunities and lead improvement efforts to minimize timeline& cost while ensuring high quality. • Make use of established/institutionalized standard templates and global process • Issue management and resolution • Escalate issues to program and business leadership as needed, manage across inter-dependent programs. • Employ a high level of rigor through use of Six sigma, Lean, and QMS processes. • Travel as needed depending on project requirements and management needs.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any digital technical discipline. • Minimum 6 years of IT& digital experience • Project management experience in matrix organizations with a history of executing on time and budget. • Able to build and secure committed support for successful project delivery. • Demonstrated competence in managing conflicts. • Strong communications skills with a demonstrated history of working across all levels of an organization & functions. • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization. • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitations skills. • Strong leadership skills and demo stated experience leading teams. • Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver. • Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions.
