Role Summary: In this role as a Finance Business Partner you will be a key focal in providing the business with sound, commercial and compliant financial advice, as well as having a pivotal role in working with other finance areas to fully support the financial needs of the business. You will embed tools digitally, be involved in long term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Finance Business Partner: Work with the business, providing financial guidance and steering business towards successful and compliant financial decisions/outcomes.
COE/GOF business contact: Liaise with Accounting Centre of Excellence, other COE’s and Global Operations Finance, who support the business, to ensure smooth, efficient processes and generate accurate and timely business financials.
Long Range forecasting: Work with P&L Leader, Civil and Military PMs, and other functions to support the preparation and review of the medium and long term planning cycles of the business e.g SII and Growth Playbook.
Short Range Forecasting & Delivery: Develop quarterly forecast and identify risks and opportunities, work with PM team to develop and execute on mitigation plans to ensure OP targets are met/exceeded quarterly. Also reduce forecast volatility. Embed tools and processes within IT systems to automate process.
Financial modelling: Prepare and support commercial bid process.
Professional accounting qualification
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience
Systems experience, including strong excel skills
Significant experience in Finance.
