Role Summary:
The Valuation Specialist will be responsible for statutory financial reporting related business and intellectual property valuations for GE industrial entities in Europe. The role will report directly into the Valuation CoE.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain valuation models for the various European entities that require valuation
  • Perform ad-hoc restructuring related valuations
  • Work with Key Stakeholders including stat, tax, audit and business teams to obtain necessary inputs, historical data and forecasts
  • Perform independent market analysis in support of the valuations


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Significant prior experience of valuations modelling for industrial entities, either with a big 4 audit firm / consulting firm or within GE / similar multi-national environment
  • Strong corporate finance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and/or financial work experience
  • Advanced communication skills in English both verbal and written
  • Able to adjust to varying priorities in a dynamic environment, work under pressure, prioritize tasks & to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), interacting with multiple levels across the organization


Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of Hyperion and S&P CapitalIQ is a strong plus
  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
