Role Summary:
The Sourcing specialist is to manage procurement / sourcing activities at a power plant and to provide support and assistance in appropriate transportation to ensure proper handling, packing, of items include but not limited to spares, consumables, tools and equipment’s, lifted items, chemicals, instruments, PPEs etc. and keep all the documentary record related to procurement / sourcing. The position is based in Sahiwal, Punjab.

Essential Responsibilities:
• To process purchase requisitions and float RFQ to appropriate vendors.
• To Process Bid comparison and creating PO as per recommendation from requisitioner.
• To liaise with customer for providing documentation for custom clearance.
• To manage contracts for services at site for annual services.
• To monitor and manage the inventory and respective records.
• To ensure availability of all items which appear in stock record
• To provide full time support to Procurement Manager and Plant Manager.
• To ensure that all inventory items are in locked premises and no un-authorized access is possible.
• To keep readily accessible records of all the documents related to procurement / sourcing.
• To comply, fulfill and follow all assignments / tasks, fall in workflow through CMMS.
• To receive and deliver documentation to and from Head office and Plant site.
• To ensure that items issued are properly documented by store keeper and their record can be produced readily.
• To comply with EHS policies and procedures as adopted and implemented at site.
• Understands OH&S risks/ hazards and environmental/legislative aspect/impacts related to activities.
• To comply with all ISO requirements as described in Quality and EHS Manuals
• To develop and maintain reporting system to the senior management as frequently as required.
• To ensure that store coding system is maintained at the best practice to avoid duplication of items and records.
• To work partially in the absence of Procurement Manager if assigned to do so.
• Any other duty assigned by the senior management.
• To be responsible for housekeeping of his assigned plant area and participate in Zonal monthly housekeeping inspections.
• To carry out and complete all EHS related Tasks and trainings with in the assigned target date, these tasks can be assigned via Compliance Calendar, MAXIMO. Action Tracking system, Concern report, Power Inspection tool, from management/Supervisor etc.
• Carry out pre-use checks for all tools, equipment’s and PPEs prior every use.
• Carry out site EHS inspections in his area to identify situations, conditions, aspects that may pose risk to employee, equipment or/& environment.
• Participation in at least 03 EHS activities in a year. These activities could be Hazard Hunt, Risk reduction Project, EHS committee member housekeeping walk down etc.
• Conduct EHS Risk assessments of routine and non-routine work activities and implement controls as needed/assigned.
• Ensure his visitors / contractors induction process is followed as per site induction procedure.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have a Graduation (in Science group)/MBA/Engineering or equivalent with three years’ experience at power plant or six years related experience at Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, or similar industry and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read, write and speak Urdu and English and interpret work documentation, Policy and procedures, records, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence with the vendors.
• Ability to interact effectively with the employees of the organization and vendors.

The candidate must be fully conversant with Customs clearance process and latest applicable rules.
