Role Summary: As Manufacturing Engineer you will provide Manufacturing Engineer activities in Machining Area developing and supporting Shop Routing, Machine Tools capability analysis, Instructions Sheets, Numerical Control Part Program, Equipment improvement and Shop Fixture design.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning:
Acting with Lean Six Sigma approach, evaluate MFG Process and drive strategic projects to improve process capabilities, quality, fulfillment, safety and productivity.
Contact with Quality, Planner and Suppliers to manage and collect First Piece and Special Process Qualification
Work with manufacturing engineers in other GE sites/GE partner to leverage existing manufacturing process technology, and spread the use of new innovations and best practices developed around the world
Partnership with Design Engineering to deliver Process Development, Manufacturability Analysis and FMEA Risk Assessment Manage Mfg Products Cost Control In addition, in this role you will be involved in some strategic programs: Ergonomics, Friday projects, lean, Eco imagination, Health ahead.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Proficient personal computer skills
Knowledge of English and Italian Languages is mandatory
EU work permit Desired Characteristics
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects
