Role Summary: Position is responsible to identify opportunities in variable cost productivity, material cost reduction and I&W optimization for Molecular Imaging products (PET/CT, SPECT/CT and RP). The Leader will work with the global Sourcing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Service teams to create business case, detailed work plans and lead their execution within the program priorities and activities.
Essential Responsibilities: • Responsible for developing and managing MI engineering / technology projects. Interfaces with internal/external customers to ensure organization resource allocation is made. • Accountable to deliver the scope of work to the original cost estimate. Control product cost during NPI. • Manages schedule, budget and integration of NPI and/or requisition projects, including influencing the projects to meet customer CTQs and hit tollgate milestones. Project is often a component of a program. • Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations. Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level. • Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done. Delivers products as part of a team. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods. • Own the technical and financial aspects of the Business Case, requirements, part qualification, transfer mfg technology know-how, verification & validation, life test and production PIPO plan. This is valid for: all VCP Initiatives (product and service), Product Transfer and Part. • Implement DFC - including identifying the optimal mfg technology and control on BOM ICV - from the Concept Car phase until the Product EOL.
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. BSc Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with experience in equivalent industry for at least 5 years. 2. 4 years relevant Program leadership of big complex products experience 3. 4 years of design experience. 4. Demonstrated leadership of cros-functional project teams and an ability to drive project design plans to completion. 5. Proven ability to drive and manage change initiatives in a matrix environment. 6. Strong Business acumen 7. leadership skills 8. Clear thinker , 9. Strong communication skills, 10. Executive presence
Desired Characteristics: 1. MBA degree 2. Experience with entire NPI cycle 3. Manufacturing / Operations Experience, Global experience or prior experience in Low Cost Country initiatives
