Role Summary: Responsible for designing, developing and testing software to create software platform and clinical applications for Anesthesia and Respiratory Care product lines
Essential Responsibilities: • Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure • Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 4-6 • Work closely with systems teams in requirements gathering. Translate requirements/ vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards • Willingness and ability to learn and use new technology and programming language • Effective problem solver: Ability to define the problem, brainstorm alternatives, choose best strategy and implement the solution • Understand performance parameters and assess, optimizes/improves application performance • Make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment • Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities • Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Agile, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Qualifications/Requirements: • B.Tech/M.Tech from Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics Engineering • 7-10 years of experience in design and software development • Experience in object oriented design methodology and programming languages - C/C++ and Java • Experience working on Windows and Linux/Unix platform
