Role Summary: Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).
Essential Responsibilities: o Drive materials planning and execution from suppliers in line with Production plan & master schedule and Co-ordinate among stakeholders to arrive at mutually acceptable plan keeping prime focus on Customer Requirements for product lines o Drive complete order fulfilment and control the deliverables as per plan by working closely with suppliers, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and all other relevant stakeholders o Identify, create visibility, and drive actions against risks associated with fulfillment of Customer Requirements/ Production Schedule by closely working with stakeholders o Keep rigorous track of Parts at Risk (PAR) including actions and mitigations o Continuously engage with suppliers and drive supplier OTD (on time delivery) and similar matrices for fulfillment o Drive the control of inventory of Raw Materials and Goods in Transit (GIT) as per inventory entitlement as well as ensure control over slow moving/Obsolescence as per inventory policy. regularly, keeps on optimizing inventory levels and meeting the inventory turns target. o Drive rigorous implementation of advance SRM module in Oracle (iSupplier), PFEP, and Inventory Modeling for 100% implementation. o Participate and work closely with sourcing and other program teams to ensure successful roll out of the products/programs o Timely update and release daily, weekly and monthly metrics and focus on measures of performance to meet delivery performance targets o Work closely with logistics and warehouse for optimization of space and cost
Qualifications/Requirements: • BE (any specialization) with 3 years work experience
Desired Characteristics: • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and Presentation skills • Good exposure to ERP, MS Office • Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
