Role Summary:
The Region Sales Manager - Embedded Power is responsible for managing the manufacturer reps and building and maintaining strong, productive working relationships with existing and new customers, and distributors in your region.



Essential Responsibilities:
As the Region Sales Manager - Embedded Power, you will:

  • Expand and deepen the company’s customer base and revenues in the assigned region
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with the Man Reps and Distributor Branches in your region
  • Plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin, and motivate distributors to prefer GE over the competition
  • Plan and implement sales strategies to grow distributor stock and small project business
  • Identify and track sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor GE
  • Coordinate technical training presentations to create preference for GE
  • Introduce new products to existing customer base and identify new distribution target customers
  • Meet or exceed assigned annual operating plan
  • Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership
  • Track sales leads, wins and losses, in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; perform analysis on hit-rate data
  • Participate in industry and local distribution organizations to build relationships


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of related sales experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to travel 70% of the time, within the territory and outside, when required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sales or Marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of power electronics industry and GE products
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience working with distributors and manufactures reps
  • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
  • Strong coordination and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers / needs
  • Strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Outstanding integrity, honesty
  • A forthright individual who is direct with superiors, peers and functional counterparts
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work on and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong sense of priority
  • Ability to work independently and a strong team player
  • Ablility to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Ability to utilize CRM software and sales tools
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office applications
