Role Summary: The integration engineer performs integration design for solution deployment on a given customer.
Responsible for generating direct outcomes for customers.
Perform the design of the field deployment kit that encompasses all the necessary components for a successful deployment of products/solutions.
Be a part of a Kanban team working in a Scaled Agile Framework environment.
Execute electrical and mechanical design for installation kits
Design and validate network and commissioning configs/templates for deployment
Generate installation bills of material for field deployment
Work with customers, field service and factory location for installation/integration of product lines
Travel to customer locations for design, installation and training of customer personnel
Document design information and present/review the material
Validate the installation deployment package on a locomotive at a customer site
Bachelors/Masters in Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Science)
1-5 years’ experience in an engineering design position
Electrical design knowledge
Strong written and communication skills
Ability to travel ~30%
Locomotive hands on knowledge
Locomotive operation knowledge
Network and communications experience
Experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
Strong technical aptitude, including, applicable engineering tools and systems
