Role Summary: The Country Sales Leader has overall responsibility for executing Grid Solutions Korea operating plan as well as setting strategic direction to drive margin and top-line growth. He/she is also responsible to create programs or initiatives responsive to the external environment. The Country Sales Leader has also the role as the Country Leader for Grid Solutions presence in Korea, representing the interest of all Grid Solutions activities.
Essential Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the Country’s strategic business plan and operating plan by leading the team and determine customers’ needs, solve problems through consultative approach and be responsible for delivering revenue and margin commitments. • Identify key opportunistic areas for synergies and collaboration between GE and customers from broader perspective. • Facilitate the collaboration among commercial, engineering, manufacturing and services teams to build one Korea team, driving the organization efforts to achieve superior business results. • Develop influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels and develop strategies to win profitable business from those customers. • Develop customer strategies and leadership in their execution. • Lead the country’s financial roll up through short, medium and long term financial planning. • Build knowledge of Korean market economics, competitive issues, technologies and market opportunities. • Engagement and follow up of Korean EPCs overseas worldwide, working in collaboration with Grid Solutions teams in the other Regions. • Provide leadership, coaching and development for the team to attract, retain and build a talent pipeline.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Business from an accredited university • Minimum 10 years of sales and operations experience with strong preference for local candidates. • Korean language proficiency • Extensive and proven leadership experience within commercial and operations. • Excellent understanding of Korea and regional economics with respect to regulatory structure and appreciation of social political dimension.
