Role Summary: The internship is a 6-month placement that aims to provide students with real Finance work experience related to their degree. The identified candidate will have the chance to work in an international environment, supporting the Italian Finance Team for Grid Solutions, a division of GE Power.
Essential Responsibilities: Main duties will regard dealing with the several GE Italian product lines across Italy on various tax and accounting related topics such as:
Prepare daily reports on Account Receivable and Account Payable balances
Prepare weekly overdue reports
Support business treasurer with day to day activities (processing payments, issuing bank guarantees, ecc
Support business treasurer with Operating working capital estimates
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Ad hoc treasury related requests
At the end of the assignment the intern will have acquired a deep understanding of both business dynamics and system technicalities, creating a solid foundation for a future career in finance in GE.
Master Degree in Economics, Finance or related fields in an accredited University or College
Written and verbal fluency in English and Italian
Knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Passionate about Finance

Ability to construct reports and perform financial tie-outs
