Role Summary: Security Specialist will have responsibility for assisting the Senior Site Security Manager in all aspects of security and crisis management, which will include physical security, electronic security, crisis management, badging, incident reporting, security investigations etc.
Essential Responsibilities: • Act as an understudy to Senior Site Security Manager. • Assist Senior Site Security Manager to implement the site Business Continuity Programme. • Identify security and crisis management vulnerabilities in and outside the site and suggest mitigation measures. • Report security incidents in the GE security incident reporting system. • Review and update policies on various site security matters. • Investigate security concerns & incidents and suggest corrective actions. • Develop, coordinate and implement comprehensive training program for security personnel deployed at site. • Suggest preventive, protective and precautionary measures against theft, pilferage, sabotage and subversive activities • Maintain and upgrade physical and electronic security infrastructure deployed at the site. • Manage budget for Security and Crisis Management function • Vetting and monitoring of Back Ground Check (BGC) reports of all Resident Contract Workers. • Extent full support to Senior Regional Security Director, Business Security Director and other members of GE Security and Crisis Management Team. • Assist Senior Site Security Manager in dealing with work place violence, visitor and contractor management, special events and VIP visits.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Should be a retired Defense Services officer and below 40 years of age • Graduation with minimum 03 years of experience in Corporate Security • Should have in depth experience & knowledge of Physical security & electronic security • Ability to handle Crisis Situations • Should have good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to keep up with advancements in technology and excellent working knowledge of computers • Prior experience in Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management • Professional certifications like CPP/CFE/CBCI will be an added advantage
