Role Summary:
The Continuous Improvement Leader will drive incremental and breakthrough improvements of products, services and processes. Accountable for the design and timely delivery of improvement initiatives using proven methodologies and tools, focused on improving the performance of end to end processes to meet performance and cost objectives and targets.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Partner with global Inspection Technologies sites and functions to identify major pain points and design improvement plans to meet local performance objectives
  • Promote a Quality culture through global and local improvement campaigns
  • Lead high impact Continuous Improvement projects focusing on cost of poor quality reduction and improving delivery performance and ensure successful execution
  • Track progress and value of improvement programs, maintain improvement deck and macro level improvement metrics, provide visibility to project status and report out progress regularly to senior leadership
  • Develop and promote adoption of a common set of tools & processes to enable consistent, scalable, and effective improvement activities across the business
  • Provide training and coaching on improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean, Apollo, Fastworks, Action Workout, Change Acceleration, Shainin, or Quick Hit Kaizens. Assure compliance to principles of chosen methodology
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and facilitate team improvement activities
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a cadre of skilled Continuous Improvement resources within functional teams
  • Collaborate with business leaders and other stakeholders to develop financial, quality and other big impact improvement goals

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an engineering or science-based subject
  • Strong experience in Lean Six Sigma, technology, operations, projects, and/or quality
  • Relevant experience with RCA, lean six sigma, or other continuous improvement tools
  • Fluent German/English speaking skills

  • Prior experience with Lean Six Sigma processes, and Change Acceleration Process and Lean Action Workouts
  • Experience using Statistical Analysis tools (ie. Minitab)
  • RCA / NCA Certification
  • Fastworks training and/or certification
  • Strong organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills
  • Process mindset with strong focus on implementing sustainable improvements
  • Prior industry experience and familiarity with Inspection Technologies products and services
