Role Summary:
The OEM Sales Account Manager, Low Voltage (LV) Motors plays an essential role in the growth of Power Conversion’s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business and is accountable for overall Electric Motor sales with OEM’s in a dedicated geographical area.



Essential Responsibilities:
As the OEM Sales Account Manager, LV Motors, you will:

  • Drive sales growth for Power Conversion in assigned geographical area  
  • Be the Region expert focused on new motors opportunities in the pump, fan and compressor segment
  • Prospect for and develop new OEM opportunities in the pump, fan and compression segment
  • Execute Distribution Trade Area Strategy with emphasis on optimizing coverage of Large Industrial facilities
  • Assume leadership role in large project opportunity development resulting in orders
  • Gather market intelligence, establish opportunity / end user strategies, coordinate / manage internal resources (Verticals, complementary GE businesses, etc) to win deals
  • Provide deep understanding of regional market industry dynamics
  • Develop your sales strategies to support company objectives and assigned customer base
  • Contribute ideas and concepts to the technical solutions, as a team member for ITO, participating in the tendering process
  • Be accountable for the delivery on commitments and communicate progress, needs and strategies to win a competitive landscape, meet / exceed targets
  • Build and improve customer relationship
  • Solicit, visit and develop relationships at all relevant levels with customers and strategic industrial partners
  • Present and position the Company and offerings in order to be included on the approved and preferred supplier list
  • Identify new projects and act as Company contact on all existing projects, keeping track of all evolutions and continuously coordinating answers and actions



Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with industrial Users and OEM’s
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales


Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong knowledge of pumps and motors
  • Previous experience with Industrial Sales or application engineering in the pump business
  • Previous experience of technical sales, applications engineering or customer support-related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Prior commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contractual agreements
  • Ability to effectively lead and energize a multi-functional team to meet sales plan
  • Knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electric motors
  • Ability to effectively manage and execute on all external & internal deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide accurate order forecasting
