Role Summary:
Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for supporting end-to-end fleet operational process, maintain daily relationship with the fleet vendors and internal stakeholders, manage driver experience, enforce vehicle policy, handle exceptions, validate of vehicle and fuel card eligibility, maintain fleet database

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Single point of contact for the country managers and local stuff of fleet vendors
  • Support smooth payment process in cooperation with Buy Desk, Buy-to-Pay (B2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) teams
  • Coordinate issue resolution activities between fleet vendor and GE Businesses
  • Conduct analytics and reports to internal stakeholders and management
  • Validation of vehicle & fuel card eligibility
  • Order approval v. policy
  • Cost management (rewrites, OEM vehicle negotiation, fuel, damage, End-of-contract cost)
  • Control of pool car utilization and short-term rentals
  • Contract management – coordinate approval of mileage recalculations, term extensions and contract transfers between legal entities
  • Manage fleet database, review and maintain accurate data relating to vehicles with special regards on (SSO’s, legal entities, drivers and key vehicle specific data
  • Duty of care including license checks & driver safety
  • Policy & service improvements e.g. Fuel project
  • Organize new starters and leavers vehicles
  • Work closely with other members of the GE Fleet Operations and internal stakeholders from HR Ops, C&B and Businesses
  • Own and manage driver list working closely with HR Operations


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college; preferably with a focus on supply chain management, foreign trade, trade law, finance, or business administration
  • Experience in Finance or Supply Chain role
  • B2P process knowledge
  • Project and process management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer Service Focused/Pro-active approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Written and verbal fluency in English
  • A visible individual that has a get up and go approach
  • SAP and/or B2P solutions (Basware, Readsoft, Perceptive…) strong knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Desired Characteristics:

  • At least one additional European language (other than English)
  • HR operation process knowledge or fleet management experience is a plus
