Role Summary: In your role as Lead Marketing & Communications Specialist you will be responsible for defining, creating and distributing the key marketing messages for growth projects to both internal and external audiences. Delivering a clear communications plan is an essential part of our objective to position GE Aviation as a leader in our core technologies. Your role will be critical in achieving this objective with a range of customers, stakeholders and the internal project team.
Delivering external communications strategy.
Developing core messages and channels to communicate project progress to potential customers.
Developing a portfolio of marketing materials to support regular external communications.
Working closely with external project partners to align communication activity.
Delivering internal communications strategy.
Development of internal team communication plan and executing on this plan with a schedule of regular updates.
Supporting technology demonstrations.
Identifying key internal stakeholders and developing tailored targeted messaging.
Delivering events to support project objectives.
Working with project partners to develop events, conferences to promote the project.
Working with the project team to support third-party involvement in collaborative initiatives.
Promoting the project within the framework of existing GE/external conferences and events.
Supporting competitor analysis and market intelligence.
Monitoring and collating intelligence on competitors
Working with Marketing and Sales to develop a clear value proposition for the technology for our customers.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience.
