Role Summary: Responsible for installation, architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of various components of multi-tier applications in an enterprise environment. S/he provides support for escalated application issues, including diagnosis and resolution of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity ensuring the root cause of the problem is addressed.
Area of expertise is SAP ECC6 MM and WM modules, with good understanding of Material management, Purchasing, Inventory processes.
Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in solutions.
Assist with businesses to understand user requirements, develop process modelling.
Contribute to design discussions. Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
Write functional specifications in detail, understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between processes, functional modules.
Support project implementations, perform configuration, testing, fixing, training, change requests, enhancements, new functionality implementation or reengineering as needed.
Cooperate with support team, actively provide functional, technical, and process knowledge for rapid issue resolution.
Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members across functions and sites.
Promote transparency by proactively sharing design choices with appropriate audiences, with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.
Demonstrate expert understanding of functional and nonfunctional requirements and their priority within the backlog.
Professional degree coupled with solid Technology and Business Process experience
Exposure to Industrial businesses is a big plus.
Experience contributing to a full-lifecycle project (either core model definition or ERP worldwide roll-outs)
Experience working with off-shore team (development or application support)
Flexibility to travel when required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Adept at interacting in both business and IT focused discussions
Awareness of ITIL or similar IT processes
Excellent team player, ability to work effectively with virtual and global cross functional teams
Highly self-motivated, able to work independently
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)
