Role Summary:
As a member of the BHGE Commercial IT team, he/she will utilize experience, knowledge, and skills gained from their experience s to take ownership and accountability of application support and operations for strategic commercial based applications in the CRM, Partner and CPQ space.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Execute application troubleshooting and take independent action to correct problems encountered during systems operations.
  • Prioritize and manage backlog work to address and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Participate in development activities to address system operations issues.
  • Identify, define and develop key measurements and develop the process to collect metrics for monitoring.
  • Interact, present and explain technical information to diverse end user audiences in a commonly understood way to resolve open issues.
  • Provide continuous improvement feedback into the development lifecycle of application systems.
  • Follow standard operations procedures and also recommend changes to procedures when obsolete/redundant.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of hands on experience in application support, software design or development and 1+ year experience developing or supporting web based applications.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    Desired Characteristics:

    Technical Expertise

  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with Java/J2E applications.
  • Experience with SKUID or other custom UI designer tools.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while supporting multi user requests.
  • Demonstrable experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript development or support.

  • Demonstrated ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for resolution
