Role Summary: The primary responsibility of this role is to develop a global online merchandising strategy and create alignment with cross functional teams to deliver on the GE Healthcare Service Shop vision. You will partner closely with the Commercial Parts & Accessories leaders, Innovation Leader, Product Catalog Leader, Segment Leaders and Analytics teams to deliver a customer-centric merchandising approach. This role will drive new initiatives which result in improved engagement and conversion.
Essential Responsibilities: Define a multi-channel merchandising strategy for Global Digital Merchandising. Drive new and innovative merchandising experiences and strategic initiatives that strengthen our customer’s relationship with GE Healthcare. Partner seamlessly with the Commercial Parts & Accessories leaders, Innovation Leader, Product Catalog Leader, Segment Leaders and Analytics teams to develop a new plan and/or platform for merchandising across all relevant digital touch points. Optimize Digital Merchandising real estate through ongoing analysis of page and placement performance. Develop data-driven insights and recommendations to cross functional partners on customer experience and merchandising opportunities. Deliver and execute merchandising plans and support large campaign execution.Work closely with Parts and Accessories Product Management to assure that this offering portfolio maximizes profitability for the company.Promote effective collaboration with regular communication and updates to internal/external stakeholders.Support, consult and influence regions or modalities to better align strategy and optimize business impact.
Qualifications/Requirements: Experience in algorithmic-based merchandising.8+ years of expertise in merchandising for a top-tier consumer brand in an online setting.Experience in content merchandising on multiple e-commerce platforms.Deep knowledge of Digital Merchandising best practices with strong merchandising “eye”.Superior verbal and written communication skills and extreme attention-to-detail.Excellent project management skills, including work prioritization,planning and task delegation.Proven analytical and numerical aptitude, versed in Adobe Analytics/site analytics and proficient in analyzing data for digital merchandising decision making.Solid analytical skills and clear thinking.Strong business acumen, being able to think strategically and influence decisions with key business leaders Strong team-facilitation and conflict resolution skills.Ability to interface and influence at multiple organization levels.High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.Open to change and adapting to new environments.Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced, ambiguous environment.Global experience a plus.Willingness to submit to a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background.Willingness to travel up to 20%; including overnight stays when needed.Willingness to take a drug test.Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Desired Characteristics: Familiarity with merchandising large product or parts catalogs for enterprise equipment •Experience in global, cross-cultural, and cross-functional work environments.•Proven experience in the healthcare industry.•Excellent organizational and planning skills•Proficient with MS Office Suite, including MS Excel and Access•Black/Greenbelt certified.
