Role Summary: Current powered by GE has a current opening in the Channel Sales operations team for a Manager Sales Operations & Analytics. This role is an analytically based role that handles various Channel Sales processes and reporting. This role is critical to the Channel leadership team due to the critical data analytics that are needed and a strong financial acumen to review the data and make recommendations where needed.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Assist with creation of annual Budget and Operating Plan for entire Channel sales organization
Gather critical POS data to determine sales of outside distributors and other sales partners
Create North America sales estimate for various pieces of the Channel and consolidate in format to share with Senior Leadership
Serve as Subject matter Expert (as the business transitions legacy systems to SAP) for
All Sales / IC Reporting
Various New Processes and Tools Supporting the Sales Organization
Prepare and analyze various types of data to include, agent sales and commissions, strategic account sales, national account sales, accounts receivable, etc
Own marketing fund process and make recommendations for tracking and process changes
Oversee buying group sales, payments, rebate calculations, etc.
Assist with annual sales incentive plan creation and annual payment reconciliation at year end
Pull all necessary data as needed for various financial reporting and pitch creation
Support Sales Organization with other Cross Functional needs, i.e. Supply Chain Reviews, Salesforce.com maintenance and opportunity review, marketing campaigns and pricing analysis
Bachelor's degree focused in Finance, Marketing, Accounting or related field from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of experience of analytical data review
Strong Excel Skills a must
Solid understanding of lighting industry
Already established relationships within the Channel sales team
Prior sales forecasting for large sales organization
Proven ability to review data and implement recommendations as needed
Strong understanding and use of finance acumen
Ability to collaborate with various teams to create analytical solutions
Self starter that owns their role and responsibilities and delivers timely and accurate results
