Role Summary: Work with site teams globally to manage casting planning and execution to support business expectations.
Essential Responsibilities: • Perform global casting planning for F&PT product lines across all regions and factories globally • Participate in S&OP process and translate the S&OP information into actionable data for our casting suppliers. Utilize S&OP data to provide long term volume expectations for casting suppliers. • Collaborate with casting suppliers to lead their capacity planning, lead time reduction, and stock planning. Insure control plans are in place at each supplier to monitor compliance to the plan. • Align with GSCM make/buy strategy for castings across all manufacturing sites. Insure that global planning for castings aligns between suppliers and manufacturing plants to minimize supplier lead time and optimize inventory globally. • Initiate necessary actions to assure best value is received, customer delivery requirements are met, and address any manufacturing problems at supplier’s facility • Lead global process to insure make/buy strategy is coordinated across all sites to include change management and SMI prevention and consumption for castings. • Drive to ensure VMI at suppliers and stocking centers is appropriate to support global need and primary suppliers established appropriately at each site. • Establish operating rhythm with F&PT leadership for review of key planning parameters, change management, inventory stock levels, and key projects. • Develop scorecard for key KPI’s for suppliers and internal manufacturing sites.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree (in Business or Technical discipline preferred) with at least 3 years of Supply Chain/Sourcing experience. • Data analytics & execution experience.
