Role Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service. This is a 2nd shift position (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm).
Essential Responsibilities: As the Maintenance Technician, you will:
Perform simple to very complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of production machinery / equipment in a manufacturing facility
Perform both corrective and preventative maintenance as needed
Own compliance, safety, quality, and productivity in position of responsibilities
Be a flexible team player and participate with problem solving and continuous improvements
Troubleshoot, repair, service, install / uninstall, move, and level a variety of production machinery / equipment
Operate various material-moving equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) and use of a wide variety of associated shop equipment and tooling
Perform other assigned duties as required
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in industrial machine maintenance including electrical, electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and safety shoes
Ability and willingness to work 1st and/or 2nd shift, overtime, and work occasional weekend shifts as required
Ability and willingness to work with hazardous material / chemicals, electrical voltage (up to 480v), and work at height in line with internal process
Ability and willingness to manage high temperature environment and work under pressure
Associate’s Degree in one of the following:
Electrical / Electronics Engineering Technology
Mechanical Engineering Technology
Industrial Electronic Technology
