Role Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service. This is a 2nd shift position (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm).



Essential Responsibilities:
As the Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Perform simple to very complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of production machinery / equipment in a manufacturing facility
  • Perform both corrective and preventative maintenance as needed
  • Own compliance, safety, quality, and productivity in position of responsibilities
  • Be a flexible team player and participate with problem solving and continuous improvements
  • Troubleshoot, repair, service, install / uninstall, move, and level a variety of production machinery / equipment
  • Operate various material-moving equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) and use of a wide variety of associated shop equipment and tooling
  • Perform other assigned duties as required


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in industrial machine maintenance including electrical, electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and safety shoes
  • Ability and willingness to work 1st and/or 2nd shift, overtime, and work occasional weekend shifts as required
  • Ability and willingness to work with hazardous material / chemicals, electrical voltage (up to 480v), and work at height in line with internal process
  • Ability and willingness to manage high temperature environment and work under pressure




Desired Characteristics:
  • Associate’s Degree in one of the following:
    • Industrial Maintenance
    • Electrical / Electronics Engineering Technology
    • Mechanical Engineering Technology
    • Industrial Electronic Technology
    • Mechatronics
    • Similar content degree program
